The European Union is actually the largest economy in the world and it's going to collapse. And no, this is not one of those internet "scare" emails or conspiracy theories. Its basically just a summary of current facts, economic realities, and cultural trends.

In short, all the planets are lining up perfectly for the Euro (the common currency in the European Union) to collapse in this generation and its quite possible we could ultimately see the complete dissolution of the European Union as a whole.

Most Americans are woefully unaware of what's going on in the world—after all, we've got the Brangelina breakup, the Kardashians to keep up with, and the never-ending fulfillment of the prophetic movie, Idiocracy, to watch in our daily political updates.

But, right now there are a ton of really important things going on in the world that are relevant to Americans—at least to Americans who care about their FREEDOM, and about their ability to create and maintain prosperity.

So let me explain what's going on in Europe right now that, for some reason, you're not hearing about in American news anywhere.

In short, Italians are sick and tired of the Euro and the European Union. Political conditions in Italy are driving the current pro-EU, establishment government to hold a referendum to change the Italian Constitution. If it passes, some fear it could open the door to another strongman like Benito Mussolini. If it fails, Italy's Matteo Renzi (the Prime Minster of Italy) has promised to resign.

And if it fails (which I hope it does), the newest Italian political party, called MS5, will most certainly come to power and will control Italy's government. So what, or who, is MS5?

Well, its kind of a funny story. Back in 2007, an Italian actor and comedian created a day called "Vaffanculo Day." Vaffanculo is basically the Italian equivalent for "f*** off." Whoa! In short, this was a way for the average Italian to voice their displeasure with establishment politicians. This day helped to bring together Italians who were frustrated by their government and politicians. It also helped to give birth to the "Five Star Movement," also known as MS5, which quickly became the most popular new political party in Italy.

MS5 is rising so fast and becoming so popular that MS5 candidates recently became Mayors in both Rome and Turin this year!

Interestingly enough, MS5 can't really be neatly categorized as either left or right (though it certain holds to some leftist ideas and a few libertarian-style principles as well). It can probably be best summarized as people who are sick and tired of their worthless politicians. Sound familiar?

Basically, Italians are sick of how their socialistic democracy has failed them. The bottom line here is that socialistic policies never work, no matter where they are tried. Sometimes, it just takes time for people to realize how stupid it is (you can thank public education for that).

Anyhow, MS5 blames poor economic conditions in Italy as a result of their use of the Euro. And guess what, MS5 has promised to hold another referendum to dump the Euro and return to the Lira (Italy's previous currency), once they come to power. Theoretically, this could all happen in less than a year.

And quite frankly, barring any unforeseen changes, it most certainly will happen. Its just a matter of time. And when it happens it will set off a chain reaction, coupled together with Britain's exit from the EU (Brexit) that will bring about the collapse of the Euro—the currency of the largest economy in the world!

Here's what the Financial Times said about it:

"An Italian exit from the single currency would trigger the total collapse of the eurozone within a very short period. It would probably lead to the most violent economic shock in history, dwarfing the Lehman Brothers bankruptcy in 2008 and the 1929 Wall Street crash."

In other words, its going to affect YOU. I'll give you more details later (including suggested steps you can take to protect yourself), but I wanted to let you know about this movement that American news is not talking about.

Because it shows us once again the truth about the human spirit—that deep down, people yearn to be free. They want to enjoy their lives without government intervention, they want to be free to prosper, and they want liberty so they can pursue happiness.

Whether it's Brits who are throwing off the needless weight of the EU's massive bureaucracies, their fellow Italians revolting against self-serving establishment politicians abusing their finances, or Venezuelans fighting for freedom so they can just eat (yup, socialism in Venezuela has produced a situation where the average Venezuelan can't afford food, and even if they could, the country doesn't have food to buy anyway), the hunger and drive for FREEDOM and LIBERTY is on the rise again.

I know it might not feel that way in America right now. But make no mistake about it, people want FREEDOM. People want to be FREE. People want to enjoy the fruits of their labor. And remember, it was these type of people who gave birth to our nation. And there are enough indicators in the world in front of us right now to give us great confidence, that no matter what happens in America, regardless of the outcome of coming elections, FREEDOM will not die.

And FREEDOM will not die for one simple reason—because there are too many of us who love FREEDOM too much. And we're willing to do whatever it takes to keep it.
